Questions about Sea Foam

I already did a search and got many answers, but also I have some questions that maybe someone might have the answers to.
I know that you can add SF to your gas, oil, and to the runing engine directly through a vac line. It looks like the vac line of choice is the one from the TB running to the valve cover (part of the PCV system).

Question #1: I was recommended that you change you oil after treatment. Is this only if you used it in the crankcase? If you only use it in your fuel, or running intake, and not hte oil, do you still need to change the oil? (or recommended at least).

Question #2: Would cleaning out a bunch or carbon in your motor all at once clog the cats, 02 sensors or sparkplugs?

Question #3: Any danger of washing out the rings when running through the intake?

Anyone with Sea Foam experience please chime in!

When i did the sho I used the ****** above the PCV hose. That worked fine. Some say you should change the plugs after using it in the intake. I didn't then and it was fine. Change your oil after you use it in the crankcase.

On the Audi I used the brake booster line (intake) and added seafoam to the oil for 75 miles. I drained it and changed my plugs (they were due anyway).

I haven't noticed any ill effects from either car. The audi rain a little smoother.

I wouldn't use it myself. But if you add too much liquid fuel you will wash down the cylinder walls and should change the oil after wards.

After reading more on the net, it seems like the dirtier you engine is, the most likely the problem with cats, spark plugs, and 02 sensors.
Probably the ultimate way to do it would be to temporarily put on a catless y-pipe with ***** o2 sensors. Then afterwards, change the spark plugs and oil and put back on your original catted y-pipe and good 02 sensors.
