i have one of the rear strut tower braces :dribble: and i would like to throw it in however i had 1 concern. i just got my car alligned about a week ago and do not want to have to pay and do it again. i was wondering is it possible to install this rear strut tower brace and guaranteed not to screw up my allignment? i was hoping to do it tomorrow durning the day in the sun and scorching heat. and i need to find a cheap neon 1 for the front so i have a stb in the front too :thumb: lol thanks in advance fellas'.

Depending on how they mount, if they only use two mounting points, you should be okay. Being that the rear struts use three points, the one bolt should hold the location. However, I think that most of the alignment in the rear is done with the control arms, but I might be wrong on that.

If the brace is adjustable, don't "adjust" it too much and you'll be fine. Otherwise, just bolt it in and you'll have no problems.

Its pretty simple. You're not going to change the alignment. There's really no alignment adjustment in the strut towers on a stock SHO. Loosening the nuts won't change anything.

Bolt the brackets onto the strut towers, adjust the bar until its snug, then lock it down with the jam nuts.

Ditto, just for confirmation. Unless someone has hacked out the mounting holes to provide more camber the nuts can be removed without affecting the rear alignment. Even if the holes _are_ hogged out you can probably remove the nuts and install the strut brace if the car isn't moved while you're doing it (which would be typical).

Since the rear alignment is done at the control arms rather than the strut tops it should be no problem to install the brace without affecting anything. FWIW, I've replaced rear struts without affecting the rear alignment...
