I have a few questions on A/C lines on my MTX swap. I bought the two lines new that go from the evaporator along the passanger frame rail forward, as well as the discharge line. Is there anyway I can make my manifold lines from the ATX work the are rust free and perfect. I read that they route different to clear the front motor mount, I will not be using the damper on the front mount if that helps me at all. Appriciate the help.

You are going to need a good shop to help you with that one. I am sure the solid lines that bolt to the compressor can be re-directed / re-shaped and the flex lines can be made new, but it will be some time / work required.
You can also go custom with parts of a kit that are commercially available. Go to vintageair.com to get an idea of what is involved.
If I remember correctly, the fill locations are different in the MTX / ATX cars, so your components are in different places, and you have not indicated if you bought ATX or MTX fender lines.

Ok let me clear this up I bought all mtx lines. So I have all I need except the compressor manifold lines (for an mtx). So I am wondering how close or far away the atx manifold lines will get me to the new lines. I was hoping mabye somebody had compared them in the past or tried to make it work. I'll be pulling my car apart soon so I'll find out but just trying to get a jump on it.

no, you need the mtx parts or some custom parts. the atx has the engine several inches forward, so the dryer etc. are up front on the mtx but don't fit there on the atx - those affect the lines that attach to the compressor.

Rudy thanks I may see how bad it is and get a local shop to mod my parts or somthing. I don't know it sucks when a car u like is harder to get parts for that a model t. Oh well it wouldn't be a prodject if it wasent. I'd scrap the ac all together but have my first kid due jan 20 so if he's in it I'd like to keep him cool.
