Ok i have had my 24mm and my 26mm sway bars sitting around the house. i got them off of a 91. I also got the mounting bracket that holds them on the car. Ok the bushings on them brackets are shot! And i need to get some new ones. What are those brackets/ bushings called? Are they included in the bushing group buy?

Thanks a bunch

Are those the busings that are shaped like D's. Like literally a D<---. I'm thinking about PolyUrethane but these TPR bushing from MOOG seem to be interesting too. Although the front aren't available in TPR supposedly. I called LEE autoparts today and they had the rear link kits for $20. Would that include one kit or two?

Use Ford Rubber 24mm bushings for the front, and get Energy part number 45134g for the rear from www.suspension.com.

Ther rear is a kit consisting of bar bushings and urethane link bushings for 18.00

if you want I can get you a Ford number for the fronts tomorrow. if you play aroung at all with the car you want a little movement on the front bar, the rubber gives this to you, A hard bushing will increase your oversteer with this combo.

Also if your going this far to replace the bushings you might as well either weld on collars on the bar (on the inside of the bushing) or get what some others have done and find a 2 peice bolt on collar for it. This stops the bar from sliding and will pervent some over steer as well.

Lots of oversteer comes from the front bar, ever making a rellay hard corner and felt good then BAM it ******? You bar will move then it catches throwing the car around. you get a much better feel for the car when the bar has a bit of play with the rubber but stays stationary.

Yea that happens all the time i go on on/off ramps going through the corners it feels like it is blastered to the road and then it jurks back really hard.. so is the 24/26 combo good for that? and get soft bushings in the front and hard in the rear?
