question about bigger injectors.

i'm about to put bigger injectors on my 91 and i started thinking... what good is that going to do with out increasing air flow ,cold air, bigger maf, you know all that kind of stuff. so my question to those who wish to read, is this. wont the comp just back off the amount of fuel trying to keep a propper air fuel ratio, and compleatly nagating the money i just spent? or is there enough potential air flow to make it all worth while?

Adding larger injectors without a means of tuning them will not only give you no boost in power, it will likely cause your car not to run at all. Any fuel trim calculations the computer tries to make is based on what size injectors you tell it that you have. And yes, without increasing air flow, more fuel will not give you any extra power.

You really only need to worry about bigger injectors when you go beyond N/A. The stock injectors do fine for the bolt ons.

Quoted for truth , I tried 30 pounders red tops without tuning and it doesnt even idle.
