This question involves Accel coils for SHOs, in my case a '92.
In another thread about Accel coils, SHOSPAZZ posted:
A while back I installed an Accel coil on my '92, and, after reading about some issues with same, and that the OEM coil works just fine, I decided to reinstall the OEM coil and check performance.
I have been having some part-throttle rough acceleration issues after the engine is warm (seems OK, though, when you punch it, and the car idles smoothly cold or warm).
When I removed the Accel coil, I noticed some green residue in the output tower of the coil for cylinder 2. I've seen this in other automotive coil output ends when there have intermittent voltage issues. Could this residue indicate that the output from the Accel coil is failing, or is very intermittent for cylinder 2?
I'll check in with feedback about whether my part-throttle acceleration woes are better with the OEM coil back in place.
Many thanks!

As stated, the ACCEL supercoil is just regarded as junk. There have been multiple failures by many people who have used them with this car, no matter if it was a 89,90,91,92,93...etc. V6 SHO. Just find a replacement OEM coil and enjoy the already perfectly fine ignition system.
