Quaife different shims

Just got off the phone with Tom at the SHOShop. Apparently the shims that are included in the Quaife install kit are not stackable to make the appropriate shim height. I'm at a loss here because the only shims in the kit are in the range of .06mm to .12mm and then there are 3 .74mm shims. If the shims aren't stackable then what's the point of the shims?? I measured my Quaife out to .71mm and there's nothing like it in the kit? Am I SOL with the whole kit???

I've heard of people stacking the shims anyways. Wait until you've gotten some replies from people who have BTDT.
