Hi all,
I am installing a quaife and ran into an issue. The new ring gear bolts (actually its the very top corner of the nuts) are just barely nicking the inside of the the trans case when it spins. Have any of u had this issue? I vaguely remember someone saying something about it in a post, but I cant find anything. My plan was to take my dremel and taper the very top outside edge of the nut so it will clear the case. I, of course, would be removing a very small amount so that I would not effect the integrity of the nut. IF anyone else had this issue, how did you handle it?
This is the second install I have done and the first didnt have this issue.
Thanks
