I ordered BF Goodrich g-Force Super Comp-2s today. I'll have the dealer put them on when they prep the car to replace the Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercars. If I lived in Arizona, they would be a great tire, but I live in Western New York. I did a lot of research on them. Road & Track and Motor Trend highly recommended them. Millers Driving School and the school and race series at Skip Barber both use them. Michelins and Pirellis are rated higher, but I don't think I would notice a difference in performance. It's my daily driver and not a track car. The price on them was much more palatable... got them at Discount Tire Direct for $170/ea. to my door.

I installed a high-performance tire made by Continental under the "General" brand name; G-MAX all season tire and love these! Also the tread pattern is very aggressive looking. Had on for over a year and they're great. Let us know how you like the BFGs.

I assume that you run winter tires? IMO, as with me in Michigan, the only way to go is a good summer tire, and then winter rubber. Personally, I like the Hankook RS3, which I just had put on my SVTF, but they are a bit serious for most folks, basically track rubber with a DOT tread, and "maybe" they will last 10K (I only got 8K on my previous RS2s)! Those BFGs are good, and so are the Hankook Evos, which have about 80-90% of the traction of the RS3, but they last a lot longer.

Ron, I got a set of Blizzaks LM25 for the winter. The 225/60R18s have the exact same rpm as the stock Primacy. The tires in combination with AWD makes the SHO just as good as a 4WD truck in the snow. Just don't have the ground clearance. I got a TPMS kit I believe from American Muscle for around (?) $150. The parts in it were all genuine Ford.

I feel a bit vindicated. I was talking to a buddy of mine that's an instructor at Watkins Glen. He said one of his students did the same thing, ie. replaced the Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercars on his PP SHO. They way he put it, they are allergic to water. Oh, he wasn't running the SHO at the Glen, it was his daily driver.

My buddy told me that the BFG G-Force Super Comp-2's are a bit noisy on the highway although grip is superb.
