so on my SHO that still isnt running but hopefully it will be this week, i have two punched cats. the guy i bought it off said he did it and since i paid 200 i was ok with that. i dont think it will make two big a difference but can anything go wrong with them punched? i also have two different mufflers. one Ford stock muffler and one smaller one that looks similar but isnt the ford stock one. will having two different mufflers mess anything up with pressure? thanks

Do you have emissions testing where you are? Not having cats (or having bad ones) will drive your NOx emissions up, and the MTX cars need all the help they can get because they have no EGR.

Yeah because no one lives there! :laugh_ti:

Well not so much, but the fact that you're a little tiny wooded state with not so much industry might have some bearing on that claim to fame. :)

plenty of roads to race on, little cops. lots of green:) but are punched cats like going to give me to little backpressure for the motor or something? and does anyone think it might be raspy?

yes, slightly raspy but it will grow on you!you said not to many cops so that can be a plus, you might get some stench from the exhaust but somthing has to give for you to get.she will be more responsive i believe.

You guys are really sick! Beating up on kittie cats!
What I would do is:
#1 Remove the Y pipe
#2 Remove the upper or top heat shields (facing the floor pan)
#3 cut the cat open and remove ALL the Pieces
#4 RE weld the seam you cut
#5 re weld the heat shields back on

Now, there is no way to see that the cats have been altered.

my cats are gutted, the only thing you will have is a loss in low end tq (but you will gain some top end hp), and have horrible emissions and also stated maybe a smelly car. Other then that it wont hurt anything:thumb:
