When I pulled my motor I used the Rear Exhaust manifold. I took a chain and rapped it aroung the manifold and used the front hanger. None of this do I accept liability for if something happens to you though.

Good Luck

when I lifted it for it's clutchwork, I stuck a bolt through the bottom right intake manifold support bracket hole. It worked good, until the bolt snapped, so use a grade 8 bolt or at least something very strong. Supposedly there's a ford lifting eye that the technicians screw in somewhere to pull the engine. Might as well go down to a ford dealer and ask a mechanic. Their HELM will tell them the part number of the eye and where it goes.

When I pulled my motor I took off both the front and rear exhaust manifold(yes the rear does come off without pulling the head) and i put a chain from one side to the other and bolted it to the exhaust studs. Worked for me..... Good luck

Make sure you paint your valve covers and intake while it is off!!!!
