check engine light finally came back on today after disconnecting the battery for winter storage, did both tests and came up with a tons of codes. I did some searching on these codes and got some ideas about them but I need alittle bit more help and what they mean

225 for knock sensor not sensed, which can be "normal" or an actual problem
114 which is normal
173 and 177 left and right rich O2 sensors, meaning bad O2s?
187 injector pulse width lower than expected, dirty injectors maybe?
542 fuel pump secondary curcuit failure, which seems to be normal

Any help would be great :thankyou:

Were these codes present before you stored the car? Ignore the knock sensor. O2s are fine but you are running rich. Look for a leaking or stuck fuel injector or injectors and also the fuel pressure regulator. I'm thinking they are gummed up from being idle during storage. Did you use any gas additives to keep the gas from going stale and gumming up everything? Best thing you can do is put in fresh gas and injector cleaner and run it.

Modern gas sucks so bad that my 1963 Buick Riviera's fuel pump would not work after the car was stored for 9 months. The gas that was in it gummed it up and this is a mechanical fuel pump I'm talking about. So you can imagine what it does to fuel injectors and other components in modern cars if it sits for any amount of time.

I agree - it seems that at least some of the fuel injectors will not shut off.

the check engine light came on before I stored it when I got on the highway a few times, I stored it and put stabil in it and ran it alot over the winter, I disconnected the battery over winter clearing the codes, d'oh! so all these codes came from yesterday when I took it out on the road for alittle bit.

haven't touched it since, went to go start it yesterday and had to crank it for 10-15 seconds to start it which was never happened before, it then idled up and down wildly and stalled, and moved a hundred feet or so and pushed in the clutch and it stalled again, started right back up and acted fine....any thoughts before I start throwing parts at this thing
