as you may well know.. manufactureres rarely make new parts for JUST one car and many parts off of most cars come from existing other cars. it would appear that our's are no different and i believe i have found were our powersteering pumps (SHO spacific) came from.

look at the power steering pump for a 95 subaru legacy.

they are identical... and Subu uses the same stuff in almost every car so this may be a good alternative source for pumps for SHO's.

just letting everyone know.

fo shizzle? If I ever need a pump, I'll look into that.

My father picked up that last couple new pumps from the original manufacturer last spring. they had them tucked away in a store-room and were covered with dust. They got sold on the SHOtimes list within minutes of being posted.

still means they will be easyer to find, and less likely to be discontinued. the SUBU's are allot more common than SHOs

after checking the computer at work (A-Z), they are different part numbers, different price, with the Subu being cheaper. they may look the same or similar but what about pump rotation and line hookup ? by the time you add the custom pressure line, your back at the cost of a SHO specific unit.
