PS hard mode

I like my v8 without sarc fuse, (poewr sterring hard mode). Can I do somethink like this in 2gen? I know there is no fuse, but how about disconnect VPSA relay? I just want harder PS, like my v8 without fuse.

VPSA is that correct- variety power sterring assistance? Working over 70MPH

I remember a while ago reading about how you can install a switch to make the PS a bit harder. Try checking the SHOtimes website and doing a search around here. Using aearch like "PS switch" might dig up what you need :wave:

IIRC the GEN 2 VAPS uses a 4 step motor. The steering effort will step through and lessen the various boost levels as the speed increases. You need to insert a switch in the stepper motor power circuit and turn it off at the speed where you like the steering effort.
