After about my 10th alignment this year(I pay $10 locally) I find out my camber just got worse, its now pushing -2.0 numbers upfront when just last year on the 18's I barly got over -1.3.

Back to my question, I was wondering what the quality of the prosuspension camber kits here: http://www.prosuspension.com/sho2.htm is and if there difficult to install. Also are there any other kits out there for the SHO other than Prosuspension one?

There is probably not engough room under the front strut tower to allow your struts to be moved far enough outboard to compensate for the level of lowering that you have done to your car. The limit is the physical size of the inside of the strut tower. Even the Eibach spring lowering on my car has caused my struts to be moved far enough outboard to physically rub the upper spring pad on the inside of the strut tower. You may be able to get it closer to the -1 lower limit, but I wish you luck. Your car is dropped a bunch.

One thing which affected my alignment a lot before was positioning/tightening my front strut tower very tight while on jacks, I got lazy and didnt do this beforer my alignment me this time so i;m hoping thats all I did.

If not at least the new camber plates allow for an extra 1.25 positive camber which would put me at -0.25 which I could defitnaly live with, most likel I would go with at least -0.50 to -1. Only reason I have never been in a hurry is because the camber hasnt really affected my tire wear overall. After 22K+(2+yrs) you can now see the wear by removing the tires, the inner tire wear is a bit more than the outer tread but nothing excessive like you would expect by now.

So anyways are these the type of good camber kits on prosuspension? Because i've heard that the type that just come with a stencil to drill new holes in are the "cheapest" kind, I would like new hardware as well, so if you know of any others please post them.

I thought they were new hardware. Have you run it by Nook to see if that is indeed the case?

I was leafing through the MM&FF mag. and came across several ads with caster/camber adj. plates for the stang. I wonder if they are designed to work only for the stang or if there is enough play to work on many vehicles. Check out HP Motorsport and some of the Mustang aftermarket sites.

i have the strut tower mounts sitting in my hand right now from speciality products co. which according to the picture and part numbers are the same parts that prosuspension is selling.

the mounts are not the redrilling type they have a cam washer that you replace to get the suspension back into aligment. the washers come in .5 .75 1 1.25

the web site for speciality products is http://www.specprod.com/ (go to apps/products link) the pictures on their site is better then nooks

From my understanding arent those the drill hole type with stencils? I like the rear camber kit which i'll pick up, but they only offer one front kit which is in the above kit.

Eddie, that's the rear suspension camber kit, and I do not like it at all. I'd rather press in eccentrics to the rear control arms than get those. For the front, Moog also makes an adjustable camber kit, you can find it on rock auto.com for $45 (2 needed) And for the rear, check out northstarmfg.com and part# 46-131 . Get 4 bushings (should be 2 packages @ $20/pkg) and you'll be set for any alignment you ever need to do again.

sorry about that, it is just the front that are the washer cam type. has anyone looked in to mounting a set of front strut tower mounts on the rear struts?
