The .82 will give you a broader range, the .63 will run out of steam up top. BUT, that .63 will boost nearly instanstly, which equals tons of tq down low.

Edit: just got an email back, oil feed not ball bearing. Hes sending me the build sheet.

Maybe he didn't? He might have just been tring to "sell" the turbo, so he might have embellished facts a little. The screenshot at the top of the thread, did you get that or did he provide it? It says ball bearing as well.

It's not garbage just because it's a journal bearing turbo, still seems to sell for around $1100 new, it'll just spool slower and be a less efficient than a ball bearing turbo. You can always upgrade to a ball bearing CHRA or full turbo once you've got it setup nice.

i just found that on google. I actually think the one on the top of the thread is what my turbo started out as and it was upgraded to an s-trim. Im pretty confused about it as you can tell. I dont really care that much. im just going to run it for a while, since im only going to be running about 7 psi.

Thanks for the input guys!

If you go to the .82 housing and feel its laggy you can add timing down low to increase exhaust pressure which will spool the turbo quicker. It wont spool like the .63 but it will be better and wont impede higher rpms.
