Whoops
Yesterday afternoon I drove my SHO about 25miles, then I went home for about 20-30minutes.
When I came out to my car, the engine was still warm.
I started it up and it hesitated. Tried it a 2nd time, hesitated, 3rd same, 4th it started but had a rough low idle at 500 rpms. Gave it a little gas and it still roughly idled there then shot up to 1500, then back down to 500rpms, gave it some gas, and it shut off.
Restarted it and the same thing. I then started it a 3rd time and let it rough idle. I then popped the hood to visually inspect everything. DIS was connected, all electrical were fine and everything else looked normal. I grabbed the throttle from under the hood and revved it a few times, probably around 2k-3k 2-3 times. She was fine then.
I cut it off and restarted it and she idled normally.
Recently, as in 2 weeks ago I ran 2 tanks of 93 octane in it for the trip to Virginia Beach. 1 up and 1 down. She usually gets 87 cause that's what I can afford right now.
I haven't been driving it hard lately as to save gas, shifting right around 2500-3000rpms, occasionally 4000.
What could this be?
No I have not done my 60k yet. I have been trying to find a day that is convenient. Might be this Sunday....
