Primary Crash Sensor #2

I have a 93 MTX with only drivers side air bag. The light flashes four times and then five, Shotimes says that it is Primary Crash Sensor #2 - Not Mounted to Vehicle Properly. I just dont know where this is located. Can anyone help out or should I call Ford.

Check the service manual for your year. It should be on the passenger side of the radiator, about 6 inches over.

DO NOT mess with anything that is part of the airbag system unless you disconnect the battery.
It is a good practice to leave the battery disconnected for about 30 minutes before working on anything. This should be long enough for any static electricity to dissapate.

Read the service manual section regarding the airbag and take the safety warnings seriously.
