premium audio/aftermarket head unit questions.

i have a 93. and i put the aftermarket head unit in it and the amps dont fire up. how can i get both amps to fire and get good sound???

I'm not positive at all on this, but I think I read somewhere that you cab just unplug the amps and the speakers will run off the amp in the head unit. But again I am not sure at all on that.

Is this a trick question? Even if the amps powered up they will not give you good sound.

Pull the stock amps out and throw them in the trash. Get a good powered headunit and just run the speakers off of that. I have an Alpine HU and they make a plug and play amp that mounts behing the glove box. No cutting or splicing, literally plug and play.

mmhh.. I'm curious if Sony makes one for their HU or if this Alpine would work with the Sony that I have.
