These seem really, really expensive compared to other DP. I realize they are well made and emissions compliant but is the extra 20 or so HP worth the premium? I suppose that could be a question for DPs in general as well.

I know what you mean. If I didn't have state inspection I would probably would find something else to use. I need the catted version too. But the upside is supposedly they don't throw codes.

I think stage 3 motorsport is the least expensive I've found. But they're for sure on my list lol.

5 Star Tuning has the PPE catted DPs for $982 and the Stainless Work version for $977.

The Stainless Works website says theirs "Now fits cars with performance package!"

Not sure about PPE's

I have a 13 PP and no fitment issues. I believe EPP was the designer of these and stainless works is the manufacturer of them all others as just distributors.
I did not dyno mine with just the pipes so I don't now what the gains are solo. I do believe this is more of an adder when you start to push the power level tho.
BTW these things are a work of art.

I thought Stainless Works through codes etc and the PPE was the only manufacturer that didn't.

To my knowledge PPE are the only ones that can be put on a stock car and not throw codes. The others you need your tune to eliminate the code

Been awhile since I've been out here, I hope everyone is well
YES! the PPE DP's are worth every penny, They are hand built to order, do not throw codes and one of the few products I ever bought that I was not disappointed when I got them. I did a whole review on the PPE pipes on another thread, its not just HP the turbos feel like they spin up quicker, it sounds better, etc. One thing you do need to remember the reason they DON'T throw codes is they do flow slightly less then the other pips on the market, but there not from China. I would also recommend having them thermal coated it does make a difference. Before I got my pipes I would burn the grass in my parents yard, now there is no issues and my Dad will let me park in the yard again.

P.S.
I went and copied my review from last year, here it is

"- Performance speaking, I always found the ECOBOOST to be a very smooth motor with a really nice power band and the new DP's make it even smother at low end, additionally as stated by someone, somewhere else, they really earn there keep once you get her out on the highway, she breaths deep and keeps asking for more. This was my first road trip and if I loved this car before I am obsessed by her her now, I was ether in the mountains or driving 80mph or both and still got 19.6 mpg. On my homeward bound run I got unexpectedly passed by a very expensive Porsche, I easily caught up to him until I hit the stock limiter, LOL Probably best thing could have happened I let him run blocker for awhile and made great time.
- I had mine ceramic coated, pretty sure operating temps are the same but the cats do seem to cool off pretty quick, cool quicker then stock I couldn't say but I like the ceramic coating so I would do that again also. Anyway well worth the money for me, hope that helps someone, have a great day."

The SW notice is because they designed their downpipes on a non-PP car, and when installed on a PP the fron O2 on the front pipe would hit the oil cooler and made install impossible without relocating the bung. They revised the design in 2017 to move the O2 location to correct the issue.
