i and a few friends recently bought a 89' MTX, there were a number of problems with the power operations, some windows would not roll, some doors would not lock others would, i removed the door panels and couldnt find any faulty wiring anywhere. what the heck could be the problem??

Window motor and door lock accuator's are a common problem's.Use a 12v Test Light to check for power at window motor connector(in door, gray connector/2 wires,R/Y and Y/R).There sould be power only at one wire when the switch is in the up position,& power at the opposite wire only in the down position.IF you get power at both wires while holding in either position,There is bad or open in ground wire t0 the driver's door. All the window motors ground through the master switch.
The door locks work the same way.
