Are you positive its the PS pump? The rear cam seal can leak onto the pump.

Just checking.

is it possible to install without removing the intake? I'd rather spend a minute snaking it through than spending a few hours pulling the intake.

EDIT: pulling the front of the intake off looks like it would be easy

you're right, I was going off of what the mechanic was telling me when I took it to Midas to get inspected. If I do buy the car it will go to a dealership to get the timing belt and valves adjusted. They quoted me $507 over the phone, but it also needs: sway bar end links, plug wires, probably plugs, tires, and the mufflers and flex pipe are shot. It doesn't need to pass emissions and the current owner had the cat welded when it started to go bad. Does anywhere sell a catalytic converter?

like used, oem, nos, or aftermarket???
OEM or NOS preferably, used is sort of a gamble. I rather pay the money for a part that has a known history than something used that could be close to going out. Like I said, not really necessary since my state doesn't do emissions. Would having the cat welded up so it can't get worse cause increased wear through the rest of the exhaust?

im catless and loveing it..... just hollowed them out
I'd rather turn the current cat into a dummy cat by cutting the top off and having a pipe welded into it so the exhaust doesn't have an expansion point and then putting the top back on. That way the exhaust gases just see a pipe the same size and won't expand or get restricted.
