I have read a lot about the PS flush on V8SHO.com, but I am debating on the best way to change/flush the system since there are a few different ways. Can anyone shead some light on what would be the most simple and efficient way? Also, what is the best fluid to put back in and how many quarts will I need?

On the GEN 3 rack there is a problem if you get air in the system. It is very difficult to remove. Flushing in the normal manner is also very messy.

What I would do is to drain the reservoir and refill with some synthetic ATX fluid. Do this every month for six months. Then repeat in 2-3 years. This way the mess is kept to a minimum and there is no risk of getting the air in the system.

If the fluid is really dark then you may have to drain the reservoir more often initially.
