I have a 90 mtx sho with about 106k. My problem consists of a power loss while cruising, idling, and accelerating... pretty much all over the band. When i accelerate it will have surges of acceleration then accelerate slowly then surge again. When i'm cruising it will feel like the thing is missing because it will feel like no power is at the wheels at all, then it will surge back to life, then do it again. Any ideas?

Who's Running?
Maybe a failing fuel pump, have you replaced the fuel filter yet? what do the plugs and wires look like? maybe some things to look into if you haven't already... more info on maint. that has been performed would be helpfull to us as well. There are a BUNCH of people here who know these cars in and out that will be able to point you in the right direction. good luck!
