Referring to the 3 x 12V power outlets.
Since I bought my SHO I've noticed that my phone charger's LED stayed ON even when the the engine and ACC were OFF.
Didn't really care much about it but I recently purchased a dash cam and confirmed that full power is delivered at all times making me unplug the dash cam every time I park to avoid overwriting files.
I first thought that the PO modified them and ran a separate wire to these but then found this in the owner's manual:

To have full capacity usage of your power point, the engine is required to
be running to avoid unintentional discharge of the battery. To prevent
the battery from being discharged:
• do not use the power point longer than necessary when the engine is
not running,
• do not leave battery chargers, video game adapters, computers and
other devices plugged in overnight or when the vehicle is parked for
extended periods.

This implies that they are always powered, can you guys please confirm?

Looks like I will have to go home and unplug my stuff. My dash cam has auto off after 15 mins, however....

My dash cam is hard wired but has a settable volt reading that it will power down to avoid killing the battery if the car sits.

I do unplug the power cord going to my Garmin when not in use, but I think it has a built in LED which could pull power even when the Garmin is removed. HOWEVER... I almost always plug my SHO into a Battery Minder to keep the battery at full charge. I think my Diehard AGM battery is sketchy at best, so this should prolong it's life a few more months.

I think everything in the car powers itself down. Interior lights go off when voltage is low. Headlights go off if voltage gets low. And lighter turn off if voltage gets too low. All listed in manual. Headlights of course when car is off and they are left on. Its a battery saver feature thing. Ive left interior lights on all the time in mine and when i start the car then they pop on and i say ohhhh i forgot to turn it off. I have a power converter and a xbox in my car to use on the tv and yea the car kills the power to it after like an hour or so with the car off

Yea i aint kiddin. I go out to my car everyday and play xbox or snes when im at work lol. Usually little past an hour or so the car will disable the outlets if the battery dips to low. To allow it to still start

Just plug it into the av jack in the center console. Only works in park but my buddy jailbroke my sync system and i can watch movies while driving. Or play games but i cant multitask like that. But i can watch the rearview camera 24/7 live even when the car is in drive. But i dont have anything on screen when im driving mostly because of the climate and audio and other controls on the screen that i cant use then haha

Your '15 power ports are also hot all the time. The cluster, radio, hvac will shut down on their own by time or voltage. Your inverter may also be smart enough to turn itself off with a specific voltage.

I will have to test that tomorrow. I am reading online that they are hot for 1hr15min after car is shutoff with the battery monitoring feature. All power points are also monitored but it is adjustable by the dealer by entering a delay value on their system on their end. Im pretty sure it did it before with phone chargers and all. Ill go out to my car now and see if they are hot. Its been off for weeks

If you can work forscan SYNC3 is straightforward swap. Can be done for less than $300 if you find a good price on the screen and APIM at a salvage yard.

That is a nice set up! However the power ports are always 12v hot. This is a great feature in my opinion. All Fords I have used recently have this feature. Its a selling point in my book.
