I just coudnt justify spending the cash to powdercoat basketweaves :snicker:

I was quoted $40 per wheel.

So, I went with about 3 cans of Krylon industrial high gloss paint for $4 a can :D

Jason, when mounting tires and balancing tires, does the powdercoat hold up ? ie - doesnt scratch, gouge, or flake...

The tire machine still comes in contact with the wheel, which could scratch the surface of the wheel. I believe that would be what he is refering to.

If you want to powdercoat your wheels white, you might look into the cost of buying a set of white slicers. White 93's came with white wheels.

If the person doing the job isn't a dipsh!t, it won't be a problem. It isn't magic.

I hope to order in some White powder that should match the SHO color.

I have another guy that is interested in SHO white, and I'm in need of white slicers for my own car too.

If I can get enough people together, I can justify ordering the custom SHO white color rather than using the plain white that I already have on the shelf.

Thanks. Scott

Don't forget that the factory white slicers only match the 93 and earlier white SHOs. Ford changed the white in 94 and didn't offer white slicers anymore. The factory white slicers are a different shade then the 94 white and won't match very well. I love my white slicers!
