currently doing some research on a SHO and wanted to join the forums to share any knowledge I have and learn as much as possible also.
About to deploy in 2 weeks for about 4 months and will be buying something (Hopefully a 2010 SHO) when I get back!

These cars are great. I looked at many cars before getting mine, and picked it over the MKS and CTS. If you do long drives, the car is very comfortable and has many features like heated/cooled/massaging seats. It has decent power and moves well for such a big car. SYNC is also great to have if you need to use the phone when driving.

Don't do it. You will drive one, think it is awesome, be amazed how fast it is from the factory and get all excited and buy it. Before long your spending piles of cash on aftermarket modifications, hanging out here 24 / 7 and constantly washing & waxing it. Before you know it, your addicted.
Kidding of course....buy one, you won't be disappointed.

First of all Jesse, I too would like to thank you for your service to our country. I would like to add to RedCandySHO's comment. I was not by any means looking for a new vehicle. I stopped by to talk to a buddy of mine that's a salesman and mentioned the new SHO, this was September, '09. He said, do you want to take one out for a spin? Need I say more
