why can i post there but not in the tech forums?

All users when they first join up go into a moderated user group. We do this to hold down on the people who sign up to post **** spam, etc. Sometimes it can take me a day or two to get to the queue of new users. Today was your lucky day, I got you out of the queue the same day you joined.

You're out now. Your unusual email address combined with your selection to not receive admin emails led me to believe you were a possible spammer. Generally when I'm approving new members, I will delete those I can confirm as being spammers without a doubt. Those that I'm unsure about I leave in the queue until they contact me. Spammers rarely, if ever, make contact so that they can post. My apologies for leaving you in there so long, spammers make me very cautious when approving new members.

I am not a spammer and I do not seem to have any permissions on the board. What is up with that? I have sent in an email asking why and received no reply. Maybe this will work.
