I'm just patting myself on the back here. Some of you may remember that a month or so ago, I did my own 60k on my '91 MTX at 81,000 miles.
I just took it to be tested. In New York, cars of a certain age have to have a "real world" emissions test. This is done on a dyno and requires the operator, a high-school dropout, to drive a computer generated course of speeds in various gears.
Not only did it pass with flying colors, it tested cleaner than last year before the 60k.
Hooray for me, with appropriate props to Scott Patterson (Congratulations on your new daughter), FPN, Autozone, and ShoNut.
