So I'm looking into finally trading in my toyota tundra for something more fun that will still be feasible during South Dakota winters. I'm in the research phase right now and would like to know what some of the common problems are with them. I'm looking around a 2013 to 2015. I have a friend that is a cop and he claims they have issues with the turbos quite a bit. He couldn't elaborate on that statement however. I looked around the forum a bit but wanted to make my own thread to cover my bases. What are common issues with the sho?

Thanks for any help in advance.

I've had a 2014 PP since May with no issues. I love this car and I beat the **** out of it. Just sent my info in for the LMS tune. This forum is super helpful check the sub forum for maintenance issues.

Only issue with them that I can think of...the PTU needs mucho maintenance it seems compared to the lifetime fluid Ford says is in there.

I wouldn't say there's an outrageous amount of turbos going either.

For the winters, will definitely need some different tires than what Ford puts on it.
