thats about it... i get a pop noise on left turns that you can feel in the floor on the drivers side (not sure if you can feel it on the passenger side since im driving lol) sway bar links were replaced and it doesnt really sound like a tie rod end cause you can feel it, so im thinking possibly subframe bushing? any ideas?

also, i have a rattle in the back that sounds like the deck where the rear speakers are is loose but its not, could this be the struts/strut mounts going bad?

thanks

For the popping, you might want to check your CV joints. Just make sure the seals are good and make sure there isn't any grease on the inner side of the wheel. Other than that, check all the subframe bushings, might be one of them.

For the rattle in the back, I think it could be the strut mounts. Friend's made a rattling noise similar to what you described.

I get a pop noise when the suspension articulates or if I hit the gas or brake. I have AlSFB's and most my suspension has been replaced already. I suspect inner tie rod ends, and will be replacing both of them this weekend. I'll let you know what I find.

ok so i replaced my stabilizer links in the back cause one was broken... but theres still a pop!

my dad rode in the passengers and said he can feel it in the seat like the seat itself is popping. i guess ill make sure the bolts are tight that hold the seat down lol but has anyone had this problem before?

Check your rear subframe bushings. They bolt into the unibody near the foot wells - that could've been what your dad felt.

BTW, pulled my struts out - strut mounts aren't bad.

I get a pretty constant popping noise in my driver side front when ever I go over bumps. I had a ball joint brake on oner of my other Taurus and that was a mess when that heppened. So i had chnaged the ball joints, the wheel bearings, endlinks, and put new struts and springs and mounts in the front and I put in ASFB. But that popping noise is still their. it's been their for probably 4-5 months now. I guess my next step is too get new inner and outter tierods, maybe a wholoe new control arm with the bushings, strut rod bshings and mybe even sway bar bushings and probably a new halfshaft, just in case it's the CV joint popping and maybe new strut mounts again just in case the peopl who put them on didn't put the washer on upside down or somehting.

Check the passenger side floor pan under the carpet for rusting.
