Plz help before i go pick up the sho!!

I am getting a new clutch put in my sho.I dont really know much about the clutches!They just called back and said the problem was the boot and it cost 50 to replace that!That sound familliar to anymore?That was on top of the clutch kit they are installing!

Sorry about that,I wanted to get a reply fast before I go pick up my car!I am not sure what boot?I will call and figure out what they are talking about!

Boot??? The only things I can think of that have "boots" is the actual shifter, which would NOT have an effect on driveability. Or the CV boots.

Exactly what I though about the shifter!It was fine before we will have to wait and see when I go down there later!I have a felling they dont know what there talking about or trying to scam me here!

or the rack&pinion bellows boots.... which yet again have nothing to do with it....

unless that is somehow a new term for a pressure plate...... sounds ridiculous...but i hear stupid stuff like that every day working at a parts store

how often do you have someone ask you for water knockers for thier car/truck......

i was clueless until the guy said...you know... the things that knock water off of the windshield when you are driving
