ok, well i was looking at a couple of my plug wires today and they look great, the electrodes are still silver, not scorched or carboned, so i wonder if i should bother replacing them when i do my 60k in a few months? i think maybe i should for peace of mind, but they dont look worn or broken down so maybe i should save the money. my plugs are new though, i did them as soon as i got the car. any suggestions?

At nearly 100K, it's still good PM to replace seemingly good original wires IMHO. You've got to figure that even if the ends still 'look' ok, that between the engine heat and the endless hot and ice cold cycles of northeastern weather, that the wires themselves have probably degraded to the point that they might start acting up on you at some inconvenient time.
