Plated rotors

Anyone ever use the cadmium plated rotors? Or other plated rotors?

How long does it last?

Would zinc plating work?

And what's the best way to prep a caliper before painting?

I have Power Slot rotors, they are cadmium plated from the factory. The plating stays on where ever the pad does not touch. I bought them so that the rotors would not rust where the pads don't meet the rotor. I love them!!! Nice clean look all the time thumb
