i peeled off the pinstriping off my sho. only about 1/3 of it cam off completely. whats left is a little clear plastic strip. its not easy to get off by hand. i was wondering if anyone else had done this, and if they had the same problem. and what, if any, kind of cleaner or chemical i could use to easily get off this clear sticker strip? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Use a compund cleaner for paints then a nice quality glaze and finish it off a wax. Now this is gonna be a bitch by hand but not impossible, a nice buffer wouldnt hurt(you could always return it later wink ). Now I can really see the strip on my paint b/c its black but sometime this summer i'll have it off :) .

It's only the adhesive left, correct? If so, then if you get some tar remover, put that over the remaining adhesive and wipe away. This will however also remove the wax in tha area so it might be a good idea to apply some wax.

If you can actaully peel this off, i would recommend using a heat gun or even a blow drying. Let it got hot enough and it should peel right off. Go in a back in fourth motion over a small area, don't hold the tool in one spot.

Hope this helps, good luck

No, i don't have any additional pics of my car. I don't have a digital camera. The pic I have was taken from the guy who painted my car. He used the camara at the dealership he used to work at, hence, the big dealership sign in the background.

I have summit turbo mufflers on there and 2.5 (diameter) tips on there from A&A auto store. Thanks for the kind words and good luck with your pin stripe removal.
