When I made these Ian and I sat in the car and listened to the tweets in different positions before we determined the angle to mount the tweets permanently. We wound up with an angle that points across and slightly back, the tweets still point infront of the seats, and favor the drivers position slightly, since that is the person that counts the most, and Ian isn't competing.

Its probably less work to do what I did then to get something that doesn't fit to begin with and then carve it up to make it fit. The tweeter pods were mounted onto the stock sail panel, wrapped and glassed and then painted. They still even mount with the stock screw.
