OK, picked up my 2011 SHO: Kona Blue, 402A, Performance Pack, nav system, multi contour seats (this seems to be a standard configuration). Drove it from Reno to San Francisco Macworld, then to San Jose, then back to Reno. Some observations:

* It has three windshield washer nozzles. Cool.
* It is very large, but feels smaller under way. In heavy SF traffic around Moscone Center, it feels gargantuan.
* I really could do without the chrome trim around what seems to be every vent, ****, gauge, and control.
* I call call up Sirius radio channels by speaking the channel name (i.e. "CNN Headline News"), but listing the presets just shows the channel number. Quick, what's "131"?
* You know that commercial where the smug SOB in the SHO blows past the guy in the Audi? Yeah, it's like that.
* The front seat lower cushions are too short. I say this as a 5'10", 170 pound male of normal proportions. However, the "multi-contour" massagers rock.
* Yes, it really can stream music off my iPhone over Bluetooth. Also cool.
* OK, default operation when you press the voice command button:
[bong bong]
"Please say a command"
[bing]

So I turn off the voice prompts because after only a few dozen times, I realize I'm supposed to, you know, say a command after I press the button. Now I get:

[bong bong]
...pause...
[bing]

And I find that I start speaking after the "bong bong" part. Perhaps when you turn off the voice prompts, you should just hear one set of tonal prompts.

Reno->SF->SJ, about 27.5mpg. SJ->Reno, 23mpg. This is with cruise control set to 72 and only occasional forays into boost.

H&R springs go on next week.

Cool! I have a 402A with Perf pack, no nav, no massage seats.

I take it you like the car. You'll get use to the size in no time. "NOW" get a tune! You'll like the car even better after tune installed.

Just got it back from the H&R spring install. Car looks much better. I was happy with the ride and handling with the stock springs, but the car definitely feels more buttoned down with the H&Rs. No problems scraping anything yet...

What's next? Well, the Livernois tune, of course. I'm disinclined to get the Corsa exhaust because the car's main use will be "highway cruising" (the sport side of things being amply handled by my Evo IX and Saleen Mustang), so silence is good. I'm considering having an upholstery shop replace the black "Miko Suede" seat inserts with perforated blue Alcantara or something similar; the interior's kinda monochromatic right now.
