Hey guys. So I bought a PI upper grill. Im wondering if I need to remove the bumper to do the install. If its like any of the other cars Ive had, Im probably going to have to remove the bumper. Im hoping not. If I do need to, anyone have any info/DIY on bumper removal?

Also, anyone have a part number for the PI lower grill?

EG1Z.17K945.CA is the part number for the lower PI grille. That being said, are you using the PI bumper? It is different from the SHO.
I am not using the PI bumper. Does the PI grill not fit the SHO?

I don't see why the upper wouldn't work, but the lower opening shows to be different between the PI and the SHO bumper covers. Plus being almost 75% cheaper than the SHO, I can understand why you'd want to save money! To be honest, I'm basing this on my 2015.

Interesting. I actually saw a SHO for sale that had the upper and lower SHO grills replaced with the PI grills looked much better. Im hoping it is a straight forward swap.

The upper PI grill will work, I'm not sure about the lower. They are cheaper and have a larger mesh and no chrome.

So the upper grill got here today. Judging by the fastener placement it looks like it’s not too bad of an install. Any chance the grills can be pulled out without removing the bumper?

No.

You'll have to remove the bumper cover.

I have a "How-To" tutorial on it's removal, but doesn't help much now that Photobucket is holding images hostage.

It's a 15min job to remove it.

I hate PB. We broke up a while before their recently hostagege situation. I have heard there’s a way to save your pics in there and to get your pictures out. Would like to see those pics if there’s a chance of them being revived.
