Performance Plus Y-pipe

I am planning on buying a used Performance Plus Y-pipe for my stock 91 SHO +. I think the pipe diameter is larger than most y-pipes. Will this be a good option for a stock SHO that will probably not see any other engine modifications? Obviously I will gain better flow however am concerned I may loose some low end torque. Any thoughts?

You will only notice improvements. If you lose any low end its not enough to notice.

The loose in low end torque is more noticeable if catless, but after 2500rpm it makes no difference in feel to me.
But the small loose of the very low in grunt is more than worth the trade off for the post secondaries power improvements. The motor feel so much more healthy to and at 6500rpm.

If it is catted, it gains low end torque and sounds great too. PP are one of the best ever made, stainless IRC. Catless loses low end in comparison, with gains higher up, but keep in mind most catless y's also sound like ricer-mania.

Thanks guys for the feedback. The Y-pipe has fresh cats with around 7k miles. I just bought it and am excited to get it in a few days.
