I've seen a few posts on here before listing the following upgrades:
Mustang fuel pump
mustang injectors
throttle body [possibly Mustang]
mass air flow [Lightning??]
Wondering if anyone could give me year fitment and/or more specific information. I'm shooting for a "low-budget build" on my 89 MTX. I appreciate any info that anyone can give me.

What is a low budget build and what is the goal? Do you have access to tuning to get different injectors, TB and MAF to play nice?

Never heard of using a Mustang fuel pump. There are upgraded fuel pumps for the SHO readily available but they probably do cross over no problem. As long as it fits in the sender and the pigtail connects you are good. Walbro is the recommended brand to go with. You can safely upgrade to a 155lph pump as plug and play. Anything higher than that will require an upgraded pressure regulator.

You can swap in an injectors that fit. Any change will require tuning via a PCM prom(Tweecer, Quarterhorse, LPM, etc..)

If you want to upgrade the MAF, there are a few plug and play units out there. Look for 73mm and 75mm. Brands that come to mind are C&L and ProFlow. The 80mm Lincoln and Lightning MAF will require tuning just like the injectors.

As far as I know, there isn't another throttle body that works on the SHO without major modification. The SHO throttle body can be bored to 69mm with a new plate. You might be able to find one already modified if you post a WTB. I have one on each of my cars.

In my opinion, the first things to address would be exhaust, brakes and suspension. Get a catted equal length Y pipe and then do a the very least the 96 brake upgrade. Cobra brakes are even better.
