Is the Perfect Circle brand sold at AutoZone compariable to Moog? For example ~ their tie rod ends and sway bar endlinks. I'm just wondering, just tring to save a few $$ and don't want to wait and order from RockAuto. :D

I've had the perfect circle inner/outer tie rods for about 6 months now and they appear to be pretty sturdy. They have a greasable fitting on them. That makes all the difference, since the Ford design uses a thin rubber film as "lubrication". When that wears out you get that loose crappy steering feeling. There isn't much to the tie rods besides being chunks of metal and the lubrication factor so I don't know if the moogs could be any better really. The main thing is that the Ford design were not reliable.

I just kinda wondering because they are significantly cheaper thumb than the Moogs and one thing I have learned is that you get what you pay for. One the other hand, they might be as good, but are cheap because they are generic. For all I know they could be manufactured in the same place and put in a different box. squint

Anyway, anybody used the perfect circle end-links....?

Perfect Circle is a very old reliable company best known for their piston rings ("perfect circle"). They are part of the DANA group of corporations. rangerj

I have had good luck with the tie rod ends from Perfect Circle.

I personally have not had good luck with the Perfect Circle front end links sold by AutoZone. I am on my 2nd set in two years and they are starting to make noise after about 14 months. The first pair lasted only 13 months. Warranty is only 3 months....
