Wondering if anyone else saw it, this guy sold this lady a car for $400 and she said the transmission went out the same day, and he told her that the tranny needed repair. When they showed the picture of the car it turned out to be a silver 93-95 SHO in great condition and I'm just thinking to myself $400? Even with a bad tranny it's easily worth that what is she complaining about? :braincramp:

hopefully that the woman can go effe herself.

my first car after college was purchased from a high school friend. Drove it home and the tranny was acting screwy but i already knew it was on its way out. parked it in the shade to wash all the crud off the car and when i went to pull it up to the garage to park it it decided not to move.

input shaft was destroyed, along with the pump and some of the gears. it was a mess inside there.

i didnt go after the girl for the $, but i sure did harass the shit out of her family till she got the replacement title for me

It was in Mass. and they are the only state that you have to get some kind of form before you sell any car to sell it "as is" they said that in any other state jthe lady would have to keep the car but in that case the seller had to pay for the repairs on the car that the buyer had paid for and he also had to buy the car back, so he said that he was going to part it out since they didnt completely fix the tranny.

it was in Taxachusetts ? did they charge sales tax on the vehicle both times it traded hands ? lol
