Well, winter isn't officially over yet...but we haven't had crap for snow this year...and I got tired of waiting so I chucked on the new rims/tires this last Saturday.

The pictures aren't the greatest, but I just wanted to SHO you guys anyways...I'll take some better ones later. I also painted the miniscule brake calipers.

Now all it needs is tinted windows, a y-pipe and some chrome exhaust tips!
(Oh, and I get I should fix whatever is making noise up front!)

Help me guys, I'm starting to get carried away with this car...Wait, I think I'm asking the wrong people for help! :bonk:

Nice lookin' rims.

How much do they weigh?

They seem kinda heavy actually. I thought they'd be lighter since they're supposedly raw aluminum. According to the UPS labels on the boxes they weigh about 24 lbs and I tried weighing them myself and they seemed closer to around 22 lbs, but my scale probably isn't that accurate.

I don't know much about aftermarket suspension components, can you use your stock struts with lowering springs? Is Intrax or Eibach the way to go? I know Intrax gives you a 1/2" more drop than Eibach but other than that is one better than the other?

P.S. Thanks for the compliments guys!

You can use the stock struts with lowering springs but its not recommended because the cannot dampen at the rate of the springs. And they also operate in a different range than they would with stock struts. In a nut shell stock struts with lowerin springs equals a crappy ride and they will wear out faster. If your going to install new parts you might as well spend more now that way you only have to do it once.
