Not really an upgrade, but in my case it will be. My pass. side vent is broken, and missing pieces, and i'm looking to replace it. I'm just not sure how to get it out without destoying 1/2 my dash. What else do I need to remove to take it out correctly?

It should just pry out w/a small flat-tip screwdriver. There's more than one component involved but none of it is glued. It's all aligned w/plastic tabs.

Cool beans!, i'm going to the junk yard tomorrow so i'll have a little practice there before I go and try to remove mine. At least now I have an idea of where to start:thumb:
