Wooo Tbird seats would be the best. I wonder how far back I could go...turbo coupes and supercoupes had nice seats.

Shoot for '89+, although the Gen9 (Aero Bird '83-'88) T-bird seats might work. Supercoupes are Gen10 (Super Bird '89-'97), and their seats will almost certainly bolt up. Turbo coupes are a maybe. Someone has probably tried it by now, but I've not heard of it myself.

If turbo coupe seats fit, then Fox Mustang seats fit. If Mustang seats fit, there's a huge, untapped aftermarket.

eg...they don't...really.

Well the lot has 4 gen 10 cougars, 2 gen II sables, 8 Gen 10 T-birds, and 9 Gen II Tauruses. Also a bunch of Gen III Tauruses too. So I am going to have alot of fun at the JY soon :)

As far as I know, there have only been 8 generations of Cougar, but I'm guessing you mean the '89-'97 (Gen7) Cougar, since those are the ones whose seats are most likely to fit.

Good luck!

Aha yeah that's exactly what I meant. Now I'm wondering what other Cougar/Tbird parts will fit. Wheels, steering wheels, etc.

Yup.

AFAIK, the steering wheel is Taurus only, and I think the GenIII steering wheel is different enough to where they won't swap, but not 100% sure on that.

I just got a 95 & the steering wheel looks almost the same as the one that was in my old 95 ****** wagon. It's just got cruise control where the ****** didn't.
