My parking brake works but when i release the brake the pedal droops a little which causes the brake light to stay on. How do i fix this problem?

I've had that problem on 2 of my 3 sho's...........I can't seem to remember how I fixed it though. I'll take a look down there, and see if I can remember for you. I know I didn't take the bulb out though..........that would drive me nuts!

That happened to mine too. What fails is the release cable spring. It's right under the drivers seat under the car. It is attached to the release cable that runs from the pedal to a connection right under the B-pillar under under the car. The cable cost somewhere around $50.00 and has fixed any parking brake troubles I had (caliper sticking and light not going out).
