parking brake cable gasket. help!

ok im replacing my front parking brake cable and i cant for the life of me figure out how to get the new cable through the gasket. im thinking about drilling it out but it just seems like there has to be a way. anyone?

also if i mess it up, are these gasket still available?

You mean the grommet? How about you pop it out first? I wouldn't count on finding the exact "gasket" new. RTV can be a wonderful thing...
