Any tips or advice for me? I want to paint the SHO logo's on the side doors, and also on the rear bumper a different color, to make it stand out a bit more.

my car is green it used to have reflective blue inserts that looked kinda cool, theyre no longer there, gone before i got the car. white seems to be the most popular with green, i've heard to use touch up paint. your car looks awesome, post some big pics:dribble:

what i did on my 94 moonlight blue was get some 2 inch masking tape put them over the logos make sure you press down so you can see the logo through the tape then get a razor blade carfully cut the tape along side the inside edge pulling the SHO part off the tape then mask up around the logo with newspaper or anything else to cover overspray and hit it with white spray paint

this is the only picture i could find sorry dont have any good ones of the side

my 93 is green and i used a black paint marker. it doesn't standout like the white, but i think it's very subtle and looks good. the marker give you good control and you don't have to tape. i did 4 "coats" and it lasted through car washes, rain, grim, snow and salt for over a year, if you keep the marker in the center console you can touch up anytime you want. i've heard of using testors model paint also. Just remember to clean and prep the area before you start.

Don't have any pictures but a thick paint marker will work,as usual when painting surfaces make sure you clean before you do it..paid $3 for it also did my "Taurus" in black..came out nice looks great

And it will not come off if you do it right..it's been on there for awhile now

I tried a paint marker first but found it hard to control. I switched to just buying some touch-up paint (the one with both the roller ball & brush) in Silver (or any color you choose) and it worked a lot easier for me. I had to put about 2 coats on but it turned out great. I have to "touch up" my paint every now and then because I never put any clear coat over it which I think I might do next time.
