I want to paint my intake on my SHO, Im looking for suggestions on what brands of hi-temp paint would be best to use, I want to do the middle of the intake Charcoal Grey with the Outside the same metallic blue as the external of my car, any suggestions or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

FWIW, I've never had a problem with using paint that wasn't High Temp. I've used everything from crappy $.98 a can spray from wal-mart to Testor's model Spray Enamel....they all work just fine...until I start turning wrenches and chip the **** outta it.

Since you want to run a gunmetal color for the runners, you could use the Duplicolors' wheel paint. That stuff is a high temp paint... well, not a high temp, but higher.. (its got to take heat genrated by brakes/wheels/air)
as for the blue, it depends on what year your car is. The 92's had a Royal Blue. Were as the 94-95's had a Moonlight blue... which is like a metalic royal blue(it has pearl in it..)
but you could probably find something close to the cars color and most wouldnt notice.

When I did my intake, I think I used the high temp. duplicolor paint. There isn't as great of a selection of colors so you may want to do what someone else suggested. But, if you do get the high temp. paint, buy it from wallmart as it is $2 cheaper then auto zone.

High temp is not necessary. I just used the same paint that I used to paint the car with to paint the intake and valve covers.
