Paint code issues

Im trying to find a touch up or spray paint to match my car but im having issues. The body paint code on the door says FC4 but from what ive read on here thats a red color code not silver like I have. I dont think its been repainted. Its a 93 atx.

FC (4 means nothing) is red metallic. not silver. i had to have a custom can made that i shipped to someone on here and they put it in a touch up duplicolor bottle and used that..he said it matched, but it was a messy delivery (on my part..i had to open it and look and check the color) and tape the lid back down..but he said it matched. so i can be certain that it is red..not silver. do you maybe have a repainted door? hmm..i dunno where else to check for color codes......anyone?

I suppose I can just wander up to the CQ Paint store and match it up.

someone on here was trying to match the silver paint code as well.... try doing a search for that code (well the person trying to match the silver that is..maybe i can find it) see if it the same year... it wasn't too long ago that they were looking for it.

do you have opal frost paint? if it is... i believe the 93ATXs have a WJ paint code. try that. good luck, if you can't find it but that is the color, i have a guy that will mix it up and i can ship it for 35 bucks all together usually.

Opal Frost was only produced in 1994.

I think the CarQuest paint store up the road can match it so I should be all set. Hopefully.

Thanks for the help guys. I must have a repaint or a replaced door or something but the autocheck says silver so it should be right.

Silver Frost and Opal Frost are two different colors. The Opal Frost cars have a Noticeable blue tint in the paint and like stated were only produced in 1994.
